Construction at Yonge and Eglinton’s newest landmark, eCondos, is well underway.
Soon, these towers will soar above midtown Toronto and we are seeing great
progress, thanks to improved weather conditions. We are now forming the 14th floor of the south tower, and window installations have begun on the 5th. On the north tower, the 6th floor has also started to take shape. Continue reading

It’s been a couple months since our last update at E Condos and although it doesn’t look like we’ve moved ahead, this progress is right on schedule. In order to create a solid foundation for the building, making sure that all of the initial steps are done properly is super important, and that’s where we are now.
As you can see from these photos, we’re currently installing the shoring work so we can start digging for the underground portion of the building. In the coming months you’ll start to see a lot more action on the site as the machines start digging underground for the parking garage and pouring the concrete for the foundation.
If you’re interested in moving to Yonge and Eglinton, we still have some suites available at E Condos! Check out our website for availability or give us a call at 416-243-8688 for more information.
It’s always a pleasure checking out Exhibit because after our tour with the construction crew we like to take off our steel-toed boots and stroll through Yorkville! We went by on a gorgeous day to check out the progress and here’s what we found. Continue reading
It’s been a while since we checked in with the progress at Exhibit so we went down to Yorkville to check out what’s going on at our Bloor Street project! The crew is working hard to get it off the ground and they’re doing a great job.
The framing of the ground floor is complete and we’ve started working our way up to the second floor. These floors will both be retail space as the suites levels don’t start until floor 4.
The framework and rebar is almost ready for us to begin pouring concrete. As you can see in the below photos, the structural columns have been framed and are waiting for concrete.
As we continue working, all of these piles of building materials will diminish to nothing before we move on to the next floor.
See! We told you our crew was hard at work.
We’ll have such a great view of the ROM from the second floor retail space.
2014 is shaping up to be a great one for Exhibit. Based on our current pace, we’re planning to have the windows come in the new year and construction of the suites by the end of the year.
Make sure you stay tuned to our Twitter and blog for more news on Exhibit and all of our other projects.
We know you’ve heard the buzz about the demolition happening at Yonge and Eglinton, but now you can see exactly what’s going on! Our amazing construction staff has been working hard to clean up one of Toronto’s most iconic corners and transform it into what will soon be the finished product of E Condos.
With such great weather, the crew has been able to demolish the grounds into a nice, flat surface and keep the whole area nearly spotless. As you can see in the photo above, there’s nearly no excess dirt on the sidewalks in front of our site.
With demolition continuing to progress on schedule, the process is slated to be complete by the end of July. Once this process is complete, the crew will start digging the hole and beginning the process of creating the parking garage.
Do you remember any of the businesses that occupied this street corner? If you do, share your favourites with us on Twitter or in the comments section
