bazis toronto developers

Follow BAZIS for new information coming in 2018!

The name BAZIS is synonymous with exciting architectural and lifestyle design.  A BAZIS condo is a thrilling addition to the city skyline, incorporating colour, shape and texture to create a memorable and timeless impression.

With foresight and intelligence, BAZIS carves a new space in Toronto’s thriving condominium market. A BAZIS condo is artistry, and the canvas is Toronto.

Like anything, a glimpse of what’s outside attracts, but it’s what’s on the inside that compels your continued attention.  Let us show you the many facets of our Signature BAZIS style.

Awe-inspiring Impressions to Last

From the shimmering, soaring Crystal Blu, with icy blue shards embedded in the concrete, to the glittering green towers of Emerald Park, BAZIS has been shaking up the conventions of Toronto’s condo scene with colour and innovative use of materials since its inception.

With each project, BAZIS has outdone itself with unique statements of colour and light.  Take for example the extraordinary bands of red nestled between the floors of the two eCondo towers at Yonge & Eglinton.  eCondo features Toronto’s first cantilevered pool, where residents revel in the excitement of a swim with an incredible view.

At Exhibit, BAZIS created an ideal architectural counterpoint to the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal at the ROM situated across the street.  With its’ clean, white, stacked block design, it’s impressive and elegantly understated. And that’s not an easy thing to do on a street that already has so much visual interest.

Finally, at BAZIS’ current project under construction at 1 Yorkville, look for yet another twist on modern condominium design. The project features long faceted metal ribbons spanning the length of the building.  This lengthens the overall effect, creating a masterpiece of light and shadow in the sky.

Locations that Inspire Movement

BAZIS understands that Toronto is for those who live to move.  Getting around is so important, and accessing transit isn’t an afterthought, it’s the first thought.  That’s why BAZIS carefully selects locations that offer ideal access to transit.

Emerald Park is situated on the Yonge St. subway line, accessible underground, and eCondo is situated to the new Eglinton LRT line that is underway, in addition to the subway.

Exhibit and Crystal Blu are situated in the downtown core of Toronto, just blocks from the subway and offering extremely quick access to Bay St. and beyond.

Finally, 1 Yorkville is Toronto’s No. 1 address, right on Yonge St. in a location that offers the world at one’s fingertips.

Elevated Interior Design

From original works of art and light in our lobbies such as Exhibit and 1 Yorkville, to our unforgettable amenity spaces, BAZIS understands luxury design.

Each BAZIS project includes jaw-dropping amenities, some of which include rooftop cinemas, lavishly appointed spas with aqua massage rooms, hot and cold plunge pools, sprawling indoor and outdoor pools, and the zen of natural landscaping to provide a calm surrounding at the end of a long day.

Inside each BAZIS suite, are finishes that you would expect from a design-forward builder.  What is never compromised, is style and convenience.  A BAZIS home is equipped with modern European-inspired kitchens with the elegance of natural stone counters, high-end appliances, gleaming hardwood, soaring floor-to-ceiling windows, and bathrooms that feature soaker tubs and elegant modern fixtures.

BAZIS is constantly reaching for a new level of indulgence, with an aim to delight and surprise with design ingenuity.  Follow BAZIS for new information coming in 2018!

What’s New in the Crystal Blu Neighbourhood?

IMG_3102

Five years have passed since the completion of Crystal Blu, our sophisticated 35 storey tower that has become one of Toronto’s finest addresses. Over the course of the past five years we have seen significant changes to our neighbourhood, changes that have made residents even happier to call Crystal Blu home.

Located across from Holt Renfrew and the Manulife Centre, we have had the opportunity to get a firsthand look at Bloor Street’s significant makeover; a $24-million transformation to be specific. The project completed by the City of Toronto and the Bloor-Yorkville BIA has seen improvements such as the widening of granite sidewalks and the adding of a sustainable planter system for trees. The area has also seen the $400 million renovation of Hazelton Lanes.

The streetscape has been transformed into lavish laneway of high-end retailers such as Stuart Weitzman, J. Crew, Brooks Brothers, Mulberry and Nespresso along with luxury brands such as Dolce & Gabana, Burberry and Louis Vuitton.

But there’s more in store. The HBC store at Bloor and Yonge will be transformed into the second-largest Saks Fifth Avenue in the world and we’ll be getting a delectable new neighbour when Eataly opens its very first Toronto location in the Manulife Centre in 2019. Eataly, the Italian food palace that includes sit-down restaurants, casual eateries and a multifaceted marketplace will span 50,000 square feet across three storeys.
The first five years at Crystal Blu have been incredible and we look forward to what awaits in the years to come.

The best stores for men’s clothes in Yorkville

Last week, we shared with you three of the hottest shops geared towards women in Yorkville, Toronto’s most luxurious neighbourhood.  This week,  let’s take a stroll in the neighbourhood to scope out some shops for men.

Shopping is more than just buying what’s new, it’s finding out the trends or creating your own fashion statement. We checked out three stores in Yorkville that will definitely have something for your dad, boyfriend, husband, or for yourself!

Leatherfoot

Best Shopping in Yorkville Toronto

Leatherfoot is the newest addition to Yorkville and is the perfect place to find a gift for the shoe-lover in your life.  Leatherfoot doesn’t sell just any old pair of sneakers, this is where you will find exceptionally well-made shoes. Without a doubt, the shoes you will find here are not available anywhere else in Canada. This shop is your stop for one-of-a-kind, great quality footwear. The best part? If you don’t find something you like, they will help you custom order a pair fit to your liking.

Anti-Hero

Yorkville Best Shopping at Altea

This boutique tucked right in the heart of Yorkville caught our eye because of the name – doesn’t everyone want to be a hero? However, after the warm welcome we received when we walked in and the array of hot fashion brands, we know you’ll find something for your hero! It’s especially fitting for those who prefer smaller boutiques that can help you find exactly what you’re looking for rather than a big department store.

We decided to ask the gentleman behind the counter about the hottest trends for the summer. His answer? Bold, colourful blazers and trousers. According to him, the colours you want to be rocking this summer are bright blues, flashy reds and the likes!

Harry Rosen

Shopping in Yorkville Toronto at Harry Rosen

The King of High-End Men’s Clothing. Home to hundreds of luxurious brands, Harry Rosen will definitely have something for any man in your life.  If you’re looking for high-end brands like Hugo Boss, Burberry,  Canada Goose, or Dolce and Gabbana, this is where you must shop. We suggest taking your dad for a custom fitting and getting him a suit tailor-made so that it fits perfectly. Otherwise, there are plenty of accessories, clothing and footwear to help you make your choice.

6 Yorkville Gems

This probably comes as no surprise to you, but Yorkville is one of our favourite neighborhoods in Toronto. Condos in Yorkville unsurprisingly are some of the most luxurious in Canada. That’s why two of our projects, Exhibit and Crystal Blu, are located there.

With perhaps the highest concentration of luxury homes in Toronto, everyone knows Yorkville is undoubtedly the city’s most stylish neighbourhood to call home. In fact, it’s also recognized as one of the top ten shopping destinations in the world! Besides shopping and the Royal Ontario Museum of course, be sure to check out these other finds in this neighbourhood.

  1. MoRoCo We’ve heard that macarons are the new cupcakes – sounds perfect to us. MoRoCo has the best macarons in town – although their other offerings aren’t too shabby either. Buttercream filling sandwiched between delicate sweet-meringue based pastries … need we say more?
