While there are technically a few more weeks left of summer Toronto, the Labour Day long weekend is it’s unofficial send-off. There is a whole host of ways to bid the summer farewell ranging from festivals that celebrate food & art, to carnivals and comic books, here are some of the best ways to celebrate, as we near the Autumn equinox: Continue reading
1 Yorkville is well on its way to being the most famous address in Toronto. Construction of this new luxury condominium is on track with the formation of the P1 underground garage. Continue reading
Construction at Yonge and Eglinton’s newest landmark, eCondos, is well underway.
Soon, these towers will soar above midtown Toronto and we are seeing great
progress, thanks to improved weather conditions. We are now forming the 14th floor of the south tower; and window installations have begun on the 5th. On the north tower, the 6th floor has also started to take shape.
These two beautiful towers will be a coveted address at Yonge and Eglinton
as residents will be enveloped by the finest dining, shopping, and entertainment that Toronto has to offer, either in the neighborhood or across the city without even having to go outside, via underground access to transit.
eCondos boasts a host of incredible features and inspired design by renowned
architect Rosario Varicalli. The bustling community outside transitions into a tranquil living environment, as residents make their way through the sleek, contemporary lobby into the luxury of their breathtaking suites. They will also find a party lounge
and fitness facility located on the 4th floor; while the 31st will house a glass cantilevered pool lounge, the first of its kind in Toronto!
Stay tuned for more updates!
The mild winter weather so far has really helped the pace of construction at E Condos. Both towers are well underway to redefining the Yonge and Eglinton skyline.
We are very excited to see how much progress has happened at 1 Yorkville since the start of the new year! The foundation mat and tower crane are now both installed, and the crew was preparing to install the slab on grade.
As we enter the month of December we’re struck with one overwhelming thought: where has the time gone?! 2016 has been a big year for our on-the-go projects. Lots of changes and progress has been made on both our E Condo and 1 Yorkville sites. If you’ve walked past either in the past 365 days you can attest to the activity and great work being done. Both sites have required extensive excavation, but lots has happened since breaking ground. Continue reading
Summer has come to a close and it’s been awhile since we last updated you on the progress of our projects. The last time that we checked in it was in the spring and we’ve certainly seen some growth since then. We’ve been busy working away on our active projects from 1 Yorkville to E Condos up at Yonge and Eglinton. Continue reading
The first warm days of spring serve as a startling reminder that soon we’ll have to shed our layers, our comfy (albeit bulky) sweaters, and don our summer wardrobe. For some this news is welcome, while for others, this means the horror that is bathing suit season. Whether you look forward to dusting off your daisy dukes or not – this time of year serves as a great excuse to adopt a new workout regimen. If you’re looking to up your fitness game but need a little inspiration, let the beautiful new Equinox Fitness in Yorkville serve as that reason to go to the gym.
2015’s coming to a close, but we’re busy as ever at E Condos, our newest high-rise at Yonge & Eglinton! The last time we updated you, we’d just completed the raft pour of the crane:
Since the crane’s been up, we’ve gotten to work on the South and North Tower. We’re thrilled with the progress we’ve made so far – check it out!
Slab on grade is in progress! “On grade” essentially means above ground, meaning that we’re hitting ground level now and soon you’ll be able to see real vertical progress on this site. Vertical walls, columns and slabs are also near completion.
Tiebacks are still in progress on the north tower. Tiebacks are rebar, which is used for structural support when pouring the foundation. The upper tiebacks are complete, but the lower ones are still in progress.
That’s our last E Condos update of 2015! We’re looking forward to getting 2016 off to a swinging start at E Condos.
