Follow BAZIS for new information coming in 2018!
The name BAZIS is synonymous with exciting architectural and lifestyle design. A BAZIS condo is a thrilling addition to the city skyline, incorporating colour, shape and texture to create a memorable and timeless impression.
With foresight and intelligence, BAZIS carves a new space in Toronto’s thriving condominium market. A BAZIS condo is artistry, and the canvas is Toronto.
Like anything, a glimpse of what’s outside attracts, but it’s what’s on the inside that compels your continued attention. Let us show you the many facets of our Signature BAZIS style.
Awe-inspiring Impressions to Last
From the shimmering, soaring Crystal Blu, with icy blue shards embedded in the concrete, to the glittering green towers of Emerald Park, BAZIS has been shaking up the conventions of Toronto’s condo scene with colour and innovative use of materials since its inception.
With each project, BAZIS has outdone itself with unique statements of colour and light. Take for example the extraordinary bands of red nestled between the floors of the two eCondo towers at Yonge & Eglinton. eCondo features Toronto’s first cantilevered pool, where residents revel in the excitement of a swim with an incredible view.
At Exhibit, BAZIS created an ideal architectural counterpoint to the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal at the ROM situated across the street. With its’ clean, white, stacked block design, it’s impressive and elegantly understated. And that’s not an easy thing to do on a street that already has so much visual interest.
Finally, at BAZIS’ current project under construction at 1 Yorkville, look for yet another twist on modern condominium design. The project features long faceted metal ribbons spanning the length of the building. This lengthens the overall effect, creating a masterpiece of light and shadow in the sky.
Locations that Inspire Movement
BAZIS understands that Toronto is for those who live to move. Getting around is so important, and accessing transit isn’t an afterthought, it’s the first thought. That’s why BAZIS carefully selects locations that offer ideal access to transit.
Emerald Park is situated on the Yonge St. subway line, accessible underground, and eCondo is situated to the new Eglinton LRT line that is underway, in addition to the subway.
Exhibit and Crystal Blu are situated in the downtown core of Toronto, just blocks from the subway and offering extremely quick access to Bay St. and beyond.
Finally, 1 Yorkville is Toronto’s No. 1 address, right on Yonge St. in a location that offers the world at one’s fingertips.
Elevated Interior Design
From original works of art and light in our lobbies such as Exhibit and 1 Yorkville, to our unforgettable amenity spaces, BAZIS understands luxury design.
Each BAZIS project includes jaw-dropping amenities, some of which include rooftop cinemas, lavishly appointed spas with aqua massage rooms, hot and cold plunge pools, sprawling indoor and outdoor pools, and the zen of natural landscaping to provide a calm surrounding at the end of a long day.
Inside each BAZIS suite, are finishes that you would expect from a design-forward builder. What is never compromised, is style and convenience. A BAZIS home is equipped with modern European-inspired kitchens with the elegance of natural stone counters, high-end appliances, gleaming hardwood, soaring floor-to-ceiling windows, and bathrooms that feature soaker tubs and elegant modern fixtures.
BAZIS is constantly reaching for a new level of indulgence, with an aim to delight and surprise with design ingenuity. Follow BAZIS for new information coming in 2018!
The construction of eCondos isn’t the only new development along Yonge and Eglinton. Area residents have also been witness to the expansion of public transportation through The Crosstown, a light rail transit line that will run across Eglinton Avenue between Mount Dennis and Kennedy Station.
The project, conceived in 2007 is slated for completion in 2021 and will consist of a 19-kilometre corridor (including a 10-kilometre underground portion) composed of 25 stations and stops linking to 54 surface bus routes, three subway stations and GO Transit lines. The Crosstown project will also include the design of fully accessible stations, upgrades to streetscaping, trail and pedestrian connections as well as providing the largest single expansion of bicycle parking in Toronto.
Tunneling was completed in August of 2016 seeing LRT activity shift to the construction of future Crosstown stations, part of which includes the closure of the underground pedestrian tunnel at Yonge Street and Eglinton leading from the Eglinton TTC subway station to the Riocan Yonge-Eglinton Centre. Although it will mean an increase in pedestrian traffic both above and below ground, access to area businesses still will be maintained.
Patience has been a virtue for area residents during this new transit expansion, but it remains an exciting project which will connect urban dwellers (including those at eCondos) directly the best the City of Toronto has to offer from workplaces and educational institutions to fine dining and entertainment. The Eglinton Crosstown LRT will provide an even greater convenience to homeowners making condo living in the Greater Toronto Area even greater.
With several exciting projects underway there’s always incredible progress in construction to report on.
The canvas can now be unveiled with the completion of Exhibit. This unique residence designed as four architectural cubes is now fully complete and registered. All of Exhibits’ spaces are open and complementing its neighbour the Royal Ontario Museum.
At 1 Yorkville, the ground floor framing to the 2nd floor of the tower is being finalized. 1 Yorkville finds itself among several heritage properties in Toronto which are currently undergoing restoration. BAZIS is currently working on stabilizing the structures for the next stage in construction. Maintaining these historic properties adds to the beauty and charm of our neighbouring communities.
Incredible advancements are happening on the two towers of eCondos at Yonge and Eglinton. Window installation is taking place on the 22nd floor of E8 along with forming on the 26th floor and suite work on the 18th floor. E15 is also seeing the installation of windows on the 7th floor and steady progression on the forming of the 16th floor and suite work on the 5th floor.
Be sure to keep checking back for more exciting updates on the unique designs that continue to change the landscape of Toronto.
Construction at Yonge and Eglinton’s newest landmark, eCondos, is well underway.
Soon, these towers will soar above midtown Toronto and we are seeing great
progress, thanks to improved weather conditions. We are now forming the 14th floor of the south tower; and window installations have begun on the 5th. On the north tower, the 6th floor has also started to take shape.
These two beautiful towers will be a coveted address at Yonge and Eglinton
as residents will be enveloped by the finest dining, shopping, and entertainment that Toronto has to offer, either in the neighborhood or across the city without even having to go outside, via underground access to transit.
eCondos boasts a host of incredible features and inspired design by renowned
architect Rosario Varicalli. The bustling community outside transitions into a tranquil living environment, as residents make their way through the sleek, contemporary lobby into the luxury of their breathtaking suites. They will also find a party lounge
and fitness facility located on the 4th floor; while the 31st will house a glass cantilevered pool lounge, the first of its kind in Toronto!
Stay tuned for more updates!
The mild winter weather so far has really helped the pace of construction at E Condos. Both towers are well underway to redefining the Yonge and Eglinton skyline.
As we enter the month of December we’re struck with one overwhelming thought: where has the time gone?! 2016 has been a big year for our on-the-go projects. Lots of changes and progress has been made on both our E Condo and 1 Yorkville sites. If you’ve walked past either in the past 365 days you can attest to the activity and great work being done. Both sites have required extensive excavation, but lots has happened since breaking ground. Continue reading
Summer has come to a close and it’s been awhile since we last updated you on the progress of our projects. The last time that we checked in it was in the spring and we’ve certainly seen some growth since then. We’ve been busy working away on our active projects from 1 Yorkville to E Condos up at Yonge and Eglinton. Continue reading
It’s been a while since we last checked in on the progress at E Condos! The last time that we checked in with our site at Yonge and Eglinton was back in not-so-snowy December. Before that, you may recall the video of the raft pour for the crane. We’re excited that a lot has changed since then.
Things are really coming together! You can see the the south tower has really come along since the last update. In December, we were just hitting ground level or “above grade” and working on vertical walls, columns, and slabs. We’re currently forming the Ground Floor Mezzanine and you can see how that’s shaping up in the photo below!
Over in the north tower, we were working on the tiebacks the last time that we checked in on the project. Since then, we’ve moved on to working on the parking. The formwork is progressing at the P1 parking level at the north tower and we’re eager to keep on building. Things are looking great over on the site.
Stay tuned for more updates to come!
