Toronto is an amazing city to be in over the holidays with lots of different opportunities to celebrate the season. We’ve got the Santa Claus parade in November to get us started, the many holiday markets to ease us into the season, and tons of New Year’s Eve parties to end the year in style! But as a neighbourhood on its own, Yonge and Eglinton has lots to offer in terms of holiday celebrations as well. If you’re looking to enjoy the holiday season in the area, we have some festive suggestions! Continue reading
Summer has come to a close and it’s been awhile since we last updated you on the progress of our projects. The last time that we checked in it was in the spring and we’ve certainly seen some growth since then. We’ve been busy working away on our active projects from 1 Yorkville to E Condos up at Yonge and Eglinton. Continue reading
Coffee is a must for many people starting their day and also for fuelling them throughout. If you need some caffeine in your veins and share an appreciation for a good cup of joe then you know how sweet it is to find a cafe that serves up some great quality coffee. Toronto has a plethora of cafes in every area and that includes Yonge and Eglinton where we’re working on E Condos! We’ve picked out a few of our favourites so you can find the perfect cup of coffee, whether your prefer lattes or americanos, around Yonge and Eg. Continue reading
There’s something about the summer that just makes you feel nostalgic. Perhaps it’s all the fresh, warm air, or maybe the fact that our minds relax enough this time of year to take an extra moment to think back on what was. We’re feeling a little nostalgic this week about one of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city – Yonge and Eglinton. We don’t have an attic with old photos and artifacts of this beloved area, but luckily the Toronto Archives provide plenty of pics to peruse from way back when. Continue reading
It’s been a while since we last checked in on the progress at eCondos! The last time that we checked in with our site at Yonge and Eglinton was back in not-so-snowy December. Before that, you may recall the video of the raft pour for the crane. We’re excited that a lot has changed since then. Continue reading
There’s something about that hint of Spring in the air that just makes you want to be a better person. Now that the snow has melted, and your parka has been packed away until next winter, the opportunities to get outside and explore have arisen. Why not make a healthy living pledge this Spring – there’s really no excuse not to. Especially if you live in the Yonge and Eglinton area. With plenty of juice bars, healthy eats, and places to get active, your new healthy life is just a few steps away.
If you haven’t been to our new corner in a few months, expect some big changes next time you head to Yonge and Eglinton. Our demolition is complete and the corner that was once a low-rise plaza is now our home, and we’re just getting started!
We currently are at the boring stage of the project, and no, we’re not referring to the least exciting stage. The boring machine is digging down and removing the perimeter basement walls of the demolished buildings. This stage of work is a slow process, and we’ve worked hard to develop engineered procedures that will ensure that we do not to affect the structural integrity of the adjacent buildings.
Although it’s a slow process, we’re progressing every day and this stage looks to be moving ahead on schedule as of now. If all goes to plan, we look to complete this work at within the next couple of weeks.

Earlier this month, the Drake General Store relocated to Yonge and Eglinton. We’re huge fans of the quirky gift shop, and welcome them with open arms to the E Condos‘ neighbourhood.
They carry some of the coolest and most unique things, we narrowed our list down to 7 things but pop in when you’re in the area – you won’t be sorry. Continue reading
