Holiday Windows in Yorkville
We’ve been very busy working with Santa’s elves to give away great prizes for our 12 days of Christmas giveaway, including delivering Dlish Cupcakes to Ratehub.ca and treating some to spa days at the Stillwater Spa. We’re also working with our own dream team on 1 Yorkville, and making great progress on our projects too.
We took some time out of our busy schedule to stroll down Yorkville and admire the holiday displays – it’s truly one of our favourite things to do during the season. Continue reading

Bazis goes to the Bata Shoe Museum!
We’re lucky that there are so many attractions and shops near our soon-to-be 1 Yorkville. We’re regulars at the Royal Ontario Museum, especially for Friday Night Live, and we routinely dine at the many fabulous cafes in the area.
Founded in 1995, the Bata Shoe Museum is another one of our favourite spots in the area, and it’s perfect for Manolo Blahnik-lovers or sneaker aficionados! Continue reading
Streetcars around the world

Friday Night Live at the ROM
One of the best parts of our upcoming 1 Yorkville project is its proximity to the ROM. Continue reading

There’s something at the ROM for visitors of all ages including those that like to party! Every Friday night from October 18th to December 6th, the ROM hosts their Friday Night Live. DJ’s, live music, food, drinks and dancing. All in a museum. It doesn’t get any better than that! Continue reading
5 Cool and Transformative Buildings
For our new project 1 Yorkville, architect Rosario Varacalli is introducing a sculptural 3D wallpaper which will change in light, shadow and colour. With that in mind, we decided to take a look at other transformative buildings from around the world that change in colour or shape.
Pamper Yourself at Yonge and Eglinton
We simply just love the idea of treating yourself from time to time whether it be with a cupcake, new clothes or even a new home! At the moment, we can’t stop thinking about spa days and beauty treatments. Continue reading
5 Creative Uses of Glass in Architecture

This invisible building above that is currently in the works in South Korea has us really intrigued.
The building won’t actually be invisible pers se, but will be sheathed in glass and will use a skin of LED screens to blend in with the surrounding skyline. The concept is similar to what we’re doing with our latest project 1 Yorkville which will have a sculptural 3D wallpaper that changes according to light, shadow, colour, and perspective.
The innovative use of glass on the South Korean tower has inspired us to search for other structures that creatively use glass in their exterior.
Here’s what we found:
