With Christmas behind us, we’re gearing up to bid farewell to a great 2013 and ring in the new year fabulously! If you have yet to make plans for New Year’s Eve, take a look at what’s happening in Yorkville – with its array of great restaurants and hotels, there’s bound to be something to tickle your fancy.
Ring in the new year at the Park Hyatt Toronto!
Annona Restaurant is offering not one, but two prix fixe dinner menus meaning you can dine in class on December 31st. From sauteed crab cakes to molten lava cake for dessert, we hope they’re still taking reservations! The Annona Restaurant offers the two options of either the Gala Dinner ($115 per guest) or the Pre-Theatre Dinner Menu ($98 per guest).
Spend the night at The Hazleton Hotel
Somehow staying in a nice hotel makes everything more special – and what better hotel to escape to than The Hazleton? Situated in the heart of Yorkville, it’s also home to one of our favourites, Mark McEwan’s One Restaurant. The Hazleton is offering a New Year’s Eve package which includes a night in a Deluxe King Room and a seven-course meal at One Restaurant.
Dine like A-listers at Sassafraz
We’ve spotted several of Hollywood’s finest at this Yorkville gem, especially around TIFF. If you’re looking for a great place to hit up for dinner with your loved ones, we definitely recommend Sassafraz. They’re offering a four course prix fixe menu, as well as live music and dancing to help you ring in the new year with style and fun! Of course space is limited, so we suggest RSVPing ASAP.
Midnight in Paris at La Société
The upscale French bistro is hosting a Midnight in Paris celebration, which kicks off at 8:30pm featuring a fab $79 set menu and an evening of live-spun music. If you’re not into prix fixe menus then give their a la carte menu a shot (starting at 5 PM) – you won’t be disappointed!
If you’re looking to venture out of Yorkville post-dinner or before calling it a night at The Hazelton, you can also check out Casa Loma or Nathan Phillips Square!
Whatever you end up doing, make sure you have fun and stay safe!
Happy New Year!
