The best stores for women’s clothes in Yorkville

June 7th, 2013

It’s pretty obvious we love Yorkville – one of Toronto’s most fashionable neighbourhoods – and home to some of the most luxurious condos in downtown Toronto including  our own projects, Exhibit and Crystal Blu. A few weeks ago, we told you about some of Yorkville’s hidden gems. This week, we’re tackling the topic of women’s fashion boutiques!

Clothing boutiques are a dime a dozen in Bloor-Yorkville but we wanted to talk about 3 that really caught our attention.

Kate Spade New York

Kate Spade was all the rage in the 90s with bright hues and funky patterns. However, in the last few years, the brand has made an impressive comeback! Last week, Yorkville welcomed the official Canadian Kate Spade New York flagship store into our neighbourhood! Only the second Kate Spade New York store in all of Canada, we are so excited to have this fun and lively brand in our area. The two-story store carries everything from the much-sought out clothing lines, bags and of course, how could we forget the cutest jewelry ever!?

Craft and Guile

Opened up in early spring, Craft and Guile is the hottest shop of the year. With current and upcoming brands fresh from the Los Angeles and New York fashion scene, the store fits right in with Yorkville’s posh surroundings! The clothing is fabulous, and the price point is incredibly reasonable – which makes everyone a big fan of the shop! They also carry well-known brands like Chanel, Louboutin and Line & Dot!

Pomp and Pageantry

best shopping in toronto

Another fairly new addition to the Yorkville family, Pomp and Pageantry is a perfect place to go shopping … and enjoy some afternoon tea! The tradition of high tea has slowly made it’s way into Toronto with many hotels offering afternoon tea, including the Fairmont. Pomp and Pageantry successfully pairs our two favourite things to make for a wonderful trip: shopping and tea in cute teacups!  This boutique carries lines from all over the world, and makes sure to showcase local Canadian talent too, like Tara Jarmon.
