Last week we shared with you three of our favourite restaurants in Yorkville that are partaking in the much-anticipated Summerlicious. We love the event so much that we took on the fun task of picking out our favourite restaurants in ever-so-poppin’ Yonge and Eglinton. Many restaurants are still taking reservations but we recommend calling them ASAP because Torontonians can’t get enough of Summerlicious.
Summerlicious at Tabülè
Well-known for their Middle-Eastern cuisine, patrons from all over Toronto like to hit up this mid-town restaurant. Tabülè has developed a reputation for not only serving incredibly delicious food, but also for their hearty portions. What makes Tabülè a favourite is their down to earth approach of classic dishes middle eastern dishes made right.
The Summerlicious menu has something for everyone – including vegetarians, vegans and meat-lovers. Be sure to try the lentil soup (rumoured to be the best in Toronto) and don’t forget about the baklava!
Lunch $15
Dinner $25
Summerlicious at Jaipur Grille
We love Summerlicious for the great fixed prices, but also for the amazing variety of cuisines. With over 100 restaurants participating in the multi-cultural city of Toronto, it comes as no surprise that there are several Indian restaurants on the list. The newly-renovated Jaipur Grill is a definite must for anyone looking to give their taste buds a fresh kick, or for those that love a mean chicken tikka masala!
Lunch $15
Dinner $25
Summerlicious at Quince
Quince is a Summerlicious (and Winterlicious) veteran, and for good reason. The Mediterranean-inspired menu is delicious and much-loved by those living in the Yonge and Eglinton area. The bistro boasts a quiet and intimate atmosphere, making it the perfect place to bring a date. Quince is also known for using seasonal and sustainable ingredients whenever possible.
