Spring into this E Condos update

May 8th, 2015

Spring is officially here, and with the warm weather we have an E Condos update to share with you!

E Condos is now in its early stages of construction and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve been excavating the site, as well as making major progress with the demolition work on site – including largely demolishing 31 Roehampton, the three-storey walk-up apartment building.

In case you missed the news from late last year, we acquired 31 Roehampton in November and then applied for a license to add even more units to E Condos. It was approved, and that’s why the north tower is currently being redesigned.

Things to look forward to at E Condos: rebuilding the existing pedestrian tunnel that links the site to Eglinton Station – which will include elevators and escalators that will connect pedestrians from the subway to street level. It’s just a matter of time – the TTC, the City of Toronto Community Planning and Urban Design staff, and the E Condos developers are all in agreement with the plans so far.

Can’t wait to see more progress at E Condos in the upcoming weeks – as usual we’ll keep you posted!
