When you’re living in one of the best cities in the world wouldn’t you want to take in the scenery from on top of the world? The rooftop at 1 Yorkville boasts the perfect atmosphere and amenities to host a fabulous party in the summer or in the winter.
Last week we released some renderings of the amenities on the 4th and 5th floor, but we’ve got a few more renderings that will make you wonder when you can get your BBQ on.
We’re pulling out all the stops when it comes to amenities. In a recent interview with The Globe and Mail, Allen Chan of DesignAgency said we asked him and his team to come up with something that pushed the envelope a bit.
“We started out with two floors of amenities, then we expanded to three, which adds up to quite a monstrous amount of amenity space.”
But it’s all good use of amenity space. Take the rooftop for example – there’s plenty to do whether it’s a BBQ outdoors, a fun movie night (we see plenty of great summer nights spent here!) or maybe a more classic soiree indoors.
We wanted to make 1 Yorkville not only a great place to live but a great place to play and relax as well. “We’re trying for restrained luxury, not a super-opulent, over the top, uber-Yorkville experience,” said Allen Chan.
We have to warn you though – you may never get rid of your guests if they visit the roof.
