Being a part of the Yorkville community really means having access to some of the greatest things Toronto has to offer. Our city has a vibrant arts culture and Yorkville has been a hub for that since their hippy days in the 60s, up to today with the AGO, Canada’s largest art gallery, just a 10-minute walk from Exhibit. The reality of it is that you don’t even have to go that far to visit some of Toronto’s best art galleries, and you might even be able to take something home! Yorkville’s local galleries are places for local artists to sell their amazing work, or international artists to find some new fans in Toronto. Check out some of our favourites.
The Kinsman Robson Gallery has been open in Yorkville for 34 years now and with 18 artists featured, many of them Canadian, your next piece may be sitting in their 2000 square foot space!
The Liss Gallery has been bringing both Canadian and International artists to the stage in Toronto since 1983, with over 40 artists currently on display including the likes of one of the most famous artists in the world: Dr. Seuss!
Located at 49 Avenue Road just north of Bloor, the Ingram Gallery houses some of Canada’s best contemporary art. The gallery is ever-changing, with new pieces and exhibitions coming in weekly.

If you’re looking for variety, the Godard Gallery is the place to go. There are 3 floors of exhibition space which include works of sculpture, paintings, and works on paper, including original prints and photographs.
