Yorkdale

Yorkdale has long been considered one of the greatest shopping centres in the city, as well as the country. With continuous updates and additions (such as the breathtaking new Nordstrom), Yorkdale has become a premiere destination for the best in luxury shopping.

Just west of the Oasis development has always been known for its established design stores. Whether it’s unique lighting showrooms, design stores, or antique consignment warehouses, there are plenty of options for those interested in design and decor to check out.
Sample Sales

One of the greatest things about the Lawrence area is its proximity to wholesale retailers. Just west of Dufferin, on Wingold Avenue you’ll find a whole strip of these retailers. What’s so great about wholesale retailers, you ask? The sample sales of course! Places like Slavin Agency and C2 Apparel are known for having incredible sample sales a handful of times each year, and are definitely worth checking out if you’re looking to update your wardrobe.
The Beltline Trail

If shopping and design aren’t your thing, then you’ll have to explore the Beltline Trail. The Beltline Trail runs from the Allen Expressway to Mount Pleasant, continuing through Evergreen Brickworks. Lots of green spaces, and nature are found along the way, making the trail a great activity for those who like to get outdoors.
The Restaurants

The area surrounding Oasis townhomes has endless dining options, and all are totally diverse! From all you can eat sushi to BBQ to rustic Italian Cuisine at Jamie Oliver’s new Yorkdale restaurant, there are plenty of different restaurants to try lining Dufferin and Bathurst.
